BREAKING NEWS! WoW Model Viewer - After Effects Plugin!

I am very proud to announce the WoW Model Viewer plugin for After Effects.

I have been secretly working with a group of talented coders to make machinimaking easier. I'm no coder myself, but I've worked as a consultant as a part of this group.

The project has been going on for exactly one year.

Currently the model viewer for AE is quite buggy, but we can view models. However, the equipment for the models must be set with the real model viewer. Keyframing animations, speed etc is something we wanted to make functional first.

We have no public release date yet, but we expect to get a functional alpha version out before the summer.

The lead programmer - my fellow countryman Vera Kusi had this to say: "It's great to have Soosdon on our team. His knowledge about machinima and WoW models in general has been of great help to us."

Our team has also talent from the Netherland, mr Fopril Aals has also an unique perspective on this: "We've also contacted some other community members. I found it quite unbelievable, but the most interest came from the RolePlaying community. They have been always wanting tools to make their erotic roleplay stories to come into reality - I believe we can grant them their wishes!"

As the basic functionality has been tested, we will start thinking about further features to the program.

WoW-Lehti Haastattelu / Interview

The Finnish World of Warcraft-magazine WoW-Lehti made an article about machinima and interviewed me for it. I took some pics about the article, and here they are.

The bolded quote translates to "There can never be too much of the following things: gnomes, hard drive space or Battlestar Galactica-references."

World of Gnomecraft 2.01

THE FACT is that Horde is better than the Alliance.

Except that it is not.

Because Horde lacks gnomes.

The version which I submitted to the contest was done in about three days.

All the unnecessary things, like eating had to be put on hold when birth was given to this gnomish liberation. When working this fast, I aimed to create functional and working scenes.

And here we go again.. I can't praise the musical score made by the Great Xenuontologist Caruu enough! I wanted epic metal, I got epic metal!

The fact still remains that it is impossible for a movie to have too much gnomes, Battlestar Galactica references or dead murlocs.

A new genre is born - gno-mech-anime!

Something REALLY different this time - I've taken a non-machinima video as one of my side projects and also as a part of this "reinventing the stuff I make"-thing.

A music video is the best way to start, and the music is this:

It's a mash-up of the Oasis song Wonderwall and Myon & Shane 54's Helpless.

Plans always change, but the initial plan is to create this by only using my camera, Photoshop and After Effects. I'm going to avoid using any machinima or game related stuff in it. But as ideas develop on the way, who knows what'll happen!

The style of the video is very similar to The Device Has Been Modified - as the lyrics of the song play out, the words and letters are synced to them.

I have no timetable on this, as this is a sideproject from all things machinima. I also don't expect to finish this anytime soon, since I'm filming it in FullHD and that does punish your machine.

The good thing in all this is that there will be no sick amounts of Fraps files to fill the HDD!

Destruction, Rebirth, Dead Murloc

The YouTube account drama takes an unexpected twist and turn, as the account seems to have been restored for now.

But still, I haven't changed my mind. Something new must become out of all this!

I'm not sure what the future will bring, but I'm playing with the thought that World of Gnomecraft 2.0 will be the last movie I release on this particular YT account. I am not planning to get rid of the BaronSoosdon alias or anything.

"Nublock Movies" on the other hand is expendable.

The best thing about all this DRAMAH is the inspiration it gave me. It's been an eternity since I've gotten an idea for a voice-acted machinima with a plot.. Especially for one which has all three key ingredients: a beginning, middle part and THE END.

When I now think of all the machinima ideas I had in mind prior to this drama, all I can see the word "CANCELLED" written in red text above their imaginary screenshots. The XT002 movie is an exception. For it, I see only static with red pixels here and there.

Destruction brings rebirth.
Rebirth brings dead murlocs.
You know the rules and so do I.

Gone in an instant. *poof*

Without no e-mail explaining why.

I have sent an inquiry to YouTube via their extrefuckingmely-hard-to-find complaint form. Oh wait, that is actually not a complaint form - you could just tick some boxes. If this was a copyright problem, I thought they'd just disable the video in question and/or send a notification about it.

Search function is your friend, so I used it! A lot of other users have the same issue as well, accoutn shut down without any warnings before or after.

This has to be said first - I am not emoing, raging or angry at the moment. Just extremely, EXTREMELY disappointed. Hell, I'm not even drunk.

I always thought that I would quit (WoW) machinima on my own terms, when I want, when I had achieved enough and made all the movies that had to be made. Therefore, I have made this decision: if I am not getting my YouTube account back, World of Gnomecraft 2.0 will be the last WoW-machinima you will ever see from me.

The reason for this is just the p0w3r of teh internets. Using all those subscribers is (was?) a good thing to get the word out of new videos and other stuf..

Making a new account is not an option, there is just no way to get those subscribers back. Sucks - but life does that a lot apparently :)

If this is the universes way of saying "lol go on, find another engine" - so be it!

This may be a goodbye to WoW-moviemaking, but not to machinima or video editing in general.

We shall see. I just want an explanation from them.

Almost forgot about the unfinished stuff while mrgrlglrglrl'ing to YouTube. Let's go through them in order

The Palest Horse - definitely not cancelled! Almost every voice has been recorded and I'm ready to move on with this. Even if this YouTube drama is means the end for my music videos and stuff like that, I sure as hell am not going to quit without making at least one full-length plot machinima.

The Ballad of XT-002: Very Bad Toys - after the YT drama, I don't know. Probably not. I did come up with some great ideas for the unfilmed parts, but I can live without finishing this movie.

There are also two other unfinished machinimas on my HD, which I think I'll release as they are. I haven't touched those two in months.

A new video by Gnomechewer

Gnomechewer is back with a new video.. and how great video it is! This machinima went directly amongst my all-time favourites!

I'm assuming that Mr Chewer still uses Vegas to create the videos. That makes this video even better, since Vegas is a very limited program when compared to After Effects (in terms of compositing and all that). "Gilnean Like Me" is the burning bright light in the sky which burns away all the blood elf rap and terribad parody filth!

The song is catchy and the video is stylish in it's Gnomechewerian style! The only downside is that I can't copycat Gnomechewer's style unless I eat his brain and consume his powers.

I give this machinima a top score of five burning murloc villages.

Something different this time - photography!

Outside of WoW, there is this game called Real Life. You are always playing it and you can only LOSE the game. That doesn't mean that there isn't any loot! In this came, the loot comes in the form of pictures which are taken with this device called camera.

The other day, it was sunshining outside. That means that it's safe to go out since the polar bears are not out there to eat people. The sun makes the bear sparkle, they don't like that at all. Those polar bears come mostly out at night, mostly.

It was safe to go to the frozen lake to hunt pictures without the fear of being eaten by a sparkling polar bear.

So here we go - pictures. They have been slightly Photoshopped: level adjustments, brightness/contrast plus some photo filter. All lens flare is natural in it's unaltered form!

It's been a while since my last post, so I'll get to the point right away!

I finished my entry to the Alienware contest by Blizzard just in time in the last minute.

My entry is called..

It is an independent sequel to the previous World of Gnomecraft machinima I did in 2009.

The most important part of this video is the soundtrack by Caruu which kicks ass and is extremely catchy at the same time.

I had damn fun during the three-day creation process. Whether I win or lose, I'm proud of this machinima.

Hopefully the people at Blizzard will pay attention to a little message I put to the end of the movie :)

Well anyways, now it's back to continuing being unemployed and finishing stuff.. yea, I'm talkin bout that XT002 clip among other things!

Collaboration Machinima from 2007

There was a collaboration machinima project going on in 2007. Eventually it faded out and was not continued. Seven parts were made though! Yesternight, Dopefish returned to the wonderful world of IRC and decided to put it all together.

The machinimakers included in this collaboration are (in order): Olibith, Nyhm, teh_taco, Telemora, Dopefish and me (each machinimakers name is shown on the top left corner when his clip starts)

If someone knows the name of the metal/industrial song which plays during my part, lemme know. I tried searching for it back then with no results :(

I'm very tempted to act like god and punish you all for your sins by making a BELF RAP VIDEO out of the Thunderfury event. To your luck, I'm not in such an evil mood at all!

Everything went well, there was one full and one half-full raid of people, either from the internets or from The Beastro.

Getting a TF has been a long-time dream of mine, now I finally got it!

While we were waiting for people to show up, an excursion to both AQ instances was in place! The silly bug thing in AQ20 wiped me and my crew of Too Many DK's, but AQ40 was more cake. Prophet Skeram and Bug Posse went down like a murloc baby to a grinder!

There was some dying, but that just happened because DK's are a weak class. Blizz needs to buff them imo!

The actual fight against Thunderaan was over so fast that I couldn't film it at all. I have liek two or three seconds of footage where the camera is pointing.. somewhere. But who cares, I got the sword and lots of pictures with DK's in them!

A we're no strangers to loveboat sailed to and from Booty Bay.

I heard there were some cookies and lesbian vampire roleplay in Alliance inns. That had to be checked out.

ZOMG THERE IS NO LESBIAN VAMPIRE ROLEPLAY AT ALLIANCE INNS! THE WARCHIEF MUST BE NOTIFIED OF THIS AT ONCE!

The actual video of the event will be ready when it's ready, it might have to wait till next year. I'll see what I got on tape and decide to what to do with the stuff, will I go for an epix "T for Thunderfury" or just simply sync it to some Backstreet Boys song.

All in all, thanks to everyone who participated! A tip to everyone ever thinking of arranging events and expecting lotsa people to whisper you: get the WoW Instant Messenger addon. It helps a bit with the spam.

RAIDERS - Ok, we are starting up a vanilla raid raiding guild. No rules in items. No (more) DK's we are already full on those (got one in the guild). Wanna join? Whisper me ingame (Soosisti, Whitelabel, Metaverse, Ilonjuhla) and ask moar. Maximum level 60, IRL age 18+ and plix know what to do. When I got the time and all that, I'll finish the webpage for the guild.

The guild is called , it's already been formed - we got a TABARD with a goat in it and a GUILD BANK full of all sorta oldskool items. Including the BoE T1 pieces for almost every class.

Recruitment is open on all classes, but the most wanted thing is a protard warrior.

Thunderaan summoning, Saturday Dec 5th 2009!

I've just completed gathering all the materials for Thunderfury.

The summoning of Thunderaan will happen on saturday 5th December @ Twilight's Hammer-EU, 19:00 realm time (GMT +1).

It's up to you if you want to roll a quick DK (doing the starter quests shouldn't take more than an hour) or level something else.

For anyone outside EU realms, things will get a lot trickier. You could get a trial account, but then I you cannot be summoned, invited to a raid/party or even whisper anyone.

The other way is to buy an EU classic account, but I think it'll be a lot cheaper for you if you'll just watch the video about the event :)

I will post just a bit more info about this once I get my invitation video done.

I love the smell of Thunderfury Bindings in the morning..

..it just happens so that a bit earlier today, Garr decided to stop holding on to the binding and gave it to me. Brutal force had to be used though.

Getting a TF has been a longtime dream for me and it's finally coming true :)

The next step is to get the Elementium, which may or may not be easy.

Once all the quest items are in Metaverse's inventory, it will be the time to summon Thunderaan and you all are invited to witness the event (and get rickrolled, all my characters are equipped with a macro for that).

This will be taking place at Twilight's Hammer-EU.

This is how we did it 3 years ago..

I've gotten a couple of requests from people who want to be in a movie by me. Here's your chance!

For the people playing on EU realms this will be quite easy - if you have a lv55 already, the least painful way is to create a Horde LolKnight and join the fight.

For all the others, this will be a bit trickier. You need to get an EU client + an EU account. Getting a trial account is easy. The downside of a trial account is that you can not whisper any other player and lv20 is the maximum you can reach. Coming to Silithus with an lv20 might be a bit painful.

When I got all the items, I'll announce the exact date in here and YouTube.

In addition to the actual summoning event, I'm looking for good ideas on what to do with all the 2 people that show up.

Crashing Booty Bay + STV could be a nice tradition to uphold? :)

Aion Machinima: Looking Back No More

It's finally ready - my first and quite probably last Aion machinima. My gametime ran out last week and I have no plans of buying more for now.

I still have hope for Aion, it kept me playing the longest time of all 'new' MMO's I tried. The upcoming patches promise to bring easier leveling, but that's not enough to bring me back.

Free tip for MMO developers: to defeat WoW, create something new. Do not copypasta the classes as they are in their archetypes. I want to replace WoW with something that feels refreshing and has new ideas and innovations. Machinima functionality would be a huge plus, but that's not necessary.

I will still be following Aion on how it develops. I'll even make that Aion machinima tutorial, but now I just don't have the time for that.

As for this video, making it was fun! I leaned a couple of new After Effects and Photoshop tricks which is always a plus.

Spread the word about this machinima, I hope it inspires other people to try their machinimation skills on Aion!

I wish I'd have over 9000 doctors degrees and the intelligence of a protection warrior in a high-end raiding guild so I could have done all this in a SRS BSNS 3D modeling program. And if that's not enough, those damn things have too many moving buttons!

A bunch of stuff!

This will be a post about many things! The first thing in my list is..

A new home!
I've been searching for a Vanilla raiding guild for a while. I had some requirements though: no silly limitations on talents, glyphs and spells. And to my luck, I found this bunch of vanillaists called Devolution on Al'Akir EU.

I transferred a lv60 priest of mine there. Skanna is the name, discipline is the game. My first time of all time.. OF ALL TIME playing a healbot in a raid environment! Can't say yet how much I like it or hate it. Pewpewing with Penance is sexeh though.

Upon joining I was immediately called to join on a journey to Molten Core! We cleared the place with 10 - 15 people. The range of gear varied a lot, but the bosses fell like baby murlocs to a pool of hot corrosive acid.

The only bosses that gave a bit of challenge were Baron G and Ragnaros. But the old tactics were quite unnecessary since everything died so fast! Hell, I did not get teleported to Shazzrah at all!

We also showed Hakkar whose bitch he is.

The only limitations to vanilla raiding they have are not allowing DK's nor Outland items (in raids). The downside is that Al'Akir is a very full server (it was locked a couple of days ago) so getting in might take some tries.

But the most important thing is that Devolution has a respectable amount of female c0wsies! /moo

And no, no, no, no, NO NO NO NO - I'm not leaving The Beastro. This'll be something for fun as I still suffer from a burnout towards WOTLK raiding.

Aion: The Tower of Eternal Grinding

The omens and internet truths are coming true.

The grindfest hit me. I got my Elyos sorcerer to level 18 and I hit a wall. The only way to advance are either by group quests or by, umm... yeah. That's it?

I'm not completely losing hope on Aion since the upcoming patch 1.5.1 promises some ease on the leveling process. I hate grinding as much as I hate murlocs and Linkin Park!

Vanilla WoW was not a perfect game, but I dont recall a single time when I had to forcefully grind world mobs just to get a level.

Well anyways, I'm going to finish the Aion machinima. Almost half of it is done and it's been real fun to do. I just gotta find some interest to play the game more, to level up and get to new areas for filming stuff.

I'm not going to animate it yet, since I don't know where I'll place it in the actual machinima.

Mixing WoW and Unreal Tournament totally was not merely a setback. Did you honestly think that I'd do a machinima without mixing up games?

Oh no no no NO NO NO NO NO, that was merely an instrument, a well-timed rickroll to a much larger plan! And this time, you will know the rules and so do I!

Still no model viewer, but who needs motion when you have still images!

I took a couple of the official Aion wallpapers, shamelessly did some pen tool cutting in Photoshop and voila.

Then I took the Photoshoppages for a little After Effects trip, added some this'n'that there and here they are.

Those orange things are markers for segments in the song - for example vocals, beats, certain types of sounds etc stuff I want to sync stuff with.

My First Aion Machinima: Preview

I've been filming the project "Aion Escapism" for a while.

I do want the movie to have footage from many different areas, so there is still a quite lot of leveling to do before I have enough varying footage.

Now that I've found the correct song for the machinima (there were two other candidates), it's a lot easier to point and shoot.

The downside is that I don't have that many female toons for the lyrics so I gotta film some of the parts in low level areas.

This picture is intentionally cropped, but let's just say that the best TV show of all time.. OF ALL TIME airs on Atreia as well!

The final movie will not be called Aion Escapism, that's just something I'm using as a working title.

Filming in Aion is not as flexible as in WoW, the camera system is a bit stiff. But, as I do have lots of WoW filming experience it has helped me a lot doing this Aion video.

Last but not least, once I'm done with the video and released it - my plan is to create a video tutorial on how to create basic Aion machinima ingame.

I'm Gonna Aion - Part 2: The Sequel

The story so far!
- Leveled a Warrior (Gladiator) to level 11, leveling the lower levels were quite painful.
- Tried both Asmodean and Elyos. Disappointed with the Asmodean area design (if the faction doesn't sell itself to me in the start, then no thanks) so I'm going (staying) Elyos.
- Now leveling an Elyos mage, I'm 99.95% sure that he'll be my main.

WoW vs Aion, Aion vs WoW
WoW. I gotta mention WoW.

I logged on today to get my penguin pet. Then I logged out, I did not want to do anything else. The only thing I'll be doing this week is my weekly farm for the TF binding dropping from Garr.

Aion feels like a nice change. Not so fresh in terms of ideas, but it gives me the similar feeling I had on vanilla WoW.

Long leveling time to reach max level, lots of new things to see - and so far I like it!

WoW stopped giving me new things to experience and find out as soon as I dinged lv80. Getting and epic nowadays is like 'lol i got an epic' compared to what it was in Vanilla, 'zomgwtf.. not one, but TWO pieces of T1!'

I do not hate WoW, it just does not offer me anything at the moment except for potential rickrolling victims.

Character customization in Aion has a LOT more sliders compared to WoW. You can make really freaky characters with all body parts out of proportion, big muscle guys/girls and smaller than WoW-gnome sized minipeople.

Machinima!
I'll be recording this and that from my adventures in Aion. the end result should be 'Unlimited Escapism goes Aion'. I can tell so much that the video will be my first to be released in 1080p FullHD resolution.

As I move along in this new world, I'll be exploring all the possibilities of making machinima that even remotely makes sense. Currently it is like the very early days of WoW - if you wanna machinima, you need real people to help you and do the bodyacting.

There is currently no model viewer program at all. PROGRAMMERS AHOY! Anyone with skillz, can you check out if it would be possible?

So I did it, I bought Aion. It's installing now when I'm writing this. I've heard very mixed opinions about the game, so the best way to decide what's going on is to play it myself.

The Story (tm) so far with MMO's and me:
- Tabula Rasa - did not draw me in enough, sci-fi setting was a plus
- LOTR:O - I started the game five times. Was not enough different from WoW.
- WAR - I bought this completely based on the 'WoW Killer' hype. Same fate as with LOTRO - started it a couple of times, it was not the droid I was looking for
- WoW - I'm just not feeling WoW anymore. I do enjoy playing with The Beastros , but the game itself.. getting bored / losing interest is quite natural after 4.5'ish years. I'm also swimming against the mainstream by saying this, but I think WOTLK was the best expansion so far but not necessarily the best expansion of all time.. OF ALL TIME

With Aion, I will be trying every class available. Something that does pewpew will be my weapon of choice I believe :)

Once upon a time, I was invited to a gnome event by Olibith himself. The event, "6eme Rassemblement Gnome" took place 2nd of October 2009 in the French Kirin'Tor RP realm.

I had already decided to make this documentary before the event. Most of the ideas in the video came afterwards, while editing.

As I don't RP at all and my interest in playing WoW is going down again, this event was a pleasant change. When I talked with Olibith in the WWI '08-trip, I understood from him that the people on French realms really put effort into RP'ing.

From the little that I know about the multilanguage EU RP'ing realms, they're quite much overcrowded with the non-rp people.

Also, I wanna give an advice to every machinimaker out there! Don't hesitate to make your machinima in your own language. If you aim for the international viewer base, just make sure that you subtitle it well.

I will definitely be making more "documentaries" in the future, but not that frequently. This can also be translated to: "someone, please pay my trip to the next Blizzcon mmkay?" :)

Well, sort of!

Olibith and his gnomish compatriots are arranging a gnomish orgy.. ERM, I mean a gnome meeting/roleplay-event of sorts in a French RP server (Kirin Tor).

I have been invited there and my supreme goal is to make a machinima mockumentary dockumentary about the event (in Finnish, of course). Expect lots of cursing and other immature stuff!

Currently I got no clue how I'll manage, since the only phrase I know in French is "Never Gonna Give You Up, Never Gonna Let You Down".

The event is taking place this friday (2th October) on the FR-EU server Kirin Tor, 20:30 gnomish vibration time. I've already created a gnome on the server, Bsoosdon is his name.

After hearing this beautiful song by none other than XT-002, I immediately connected the creator of it to request permission for machinimation.

I received the permission, and currently there is 30 seconds done!

It is not known why Olibith is dead. He just does that a lot?

This one looks a lot cooler in motion. I'm not happy with the current version in the video, this shot will definitely receive some tweaking.

6000 years ago, after one very hazy night in Woodstock.. Chromie and Mimiron found each other - one thing lead to another, thus XT-002 was born later (from an egg).

Don't like this shot as it is, it needs a dead murloc and some recolourization.

But zomg.. now I have THREE not-completed music videos to make. This XT-002 one, the 5th Dimension trance music video (with the human female in it, read older posts for screens) plus one more which is in too early stages to be shown.

Blizzcon 2009: The Good, The Bad and The MrgRLGwrrGrgBrlGrgbl

Blizzcon 2009 came and went. So what was good? What was bad? What was something in between?

THE GOOD

WoW: Cataclysm
The announcement was not a surprise. It is a great move to destroy the old rold, this is how the world should progress! I was so happy to see Auberdine in ruins, in your face - filthy nelf scum!

The simplification of the stats pleases a retard like me. I have hated maths and numbercrunching my entire life. No shards for warlocks! Paladins get a holy bomb, a 30 megaton nuclear judgement!

Gnome priests! Finally, finally! At the moment I can't say will I be rolling a gnome priest from the start or shall I do a faction transfer. I guess that the re-shaping of the old world and the new talents given to the classes will also affect my decision.

Also, I want to join a gnome-only guild when this happens. O'rly-really.

Goblins! Definitely will be rolling one of those too - might even do the race change thing from some of my currently existing characters should it happen.

Worgen! As they are not weregnomes, I'll probably roll one only for work reasons and to check out the visuals of the starting area. The style and appearance of Gilneas is damn amazing as seen from the previews.

Last but not definitely least.. I'm sincerely hoping that all those "QQ BLIZZ DESTROYED THIS GAME IM GONNA QUIT WWWAAAAAHHH"-people leave the game.

The sooner the better.

Star Craft 2 map/mod creation tool(s) - damn. That was the coolest shit ever. In case someone missed the stream or was not at Blizzcon, the short version is that the SC2 tools will allow you to make almost everything.

The Blizzard programmers had made an oldschool shoot 'em up game (like R-Type) and a FPS game with the SC2 engine.

All this could also mean a new era in machinima creation, depending on how far the customization can go.

I'm having some faith that with SC2 I'll be finally able to make the Nikita storyline machinima (currently it's just not possible, I lack the technical skills and all that).

THE "SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN"

Old world raids? I did hear from TotalBiscuit @ #machinima irc that they will be spared and left as they are (excluding Onyxia). Also, someone did mention that in WoW-eu forums.

In none of the panels that I listened to this was not confirmed nor denied.

Machinima contest - I did not participate, but this time it was a move towards something better. They did show all the entries in full, BUT the three minute time limit is just too low.

Every machinimaker who I knew and planned on entering, did not like this. Three minutes is just too short. Five minutes would be the perfect length, not being too much or too little in either way.

The worst thing were the rules which were modified and changed along the way.

THE BAD

DirecTV Stream - oh boy. The first day was a damned disappointment. I paid 30 euros to not see the whole show. You see, the transmission was cut off right before the event was over.

I missed the second half of the voice-a-like contest, some of the dance contest and the announcement of machinima finalists. I was forgiving about the buffering and all, but cutting off the transmission before it's all over was totally not cool.

ZOMG EPIX TELEVISION HISTORY! Yeah, right.

And second of all, not all panels where shown on the stream.

Really, why?

This is the internet, it can't be a total impossibility to have multiple streams come out and let the user decide what he does or does not want to see. Technically it shouldn't be that difficult.

But hey.. at least I'll get a murloc pet to toss in the various lava pits around Azeroth.

World of Gnomecraft + WTS Skillz!

Due to unforeseen technical issues with the blog, I'm releasing the WoGC downloadable version a bit late.

The funny thing is that I had developed a concept like this in my head for quite a while. When the Buffed.de people asked me to do this video, everything flowed out very easily. Due to the time limit, everything I wanted could not be put there.

Maybe someday I will make a World of Gnomecraft 2. But there's lots of other things to finish before that as always :)

I've been experimenting with After Effects more and more, I'm getting the hang of the program somewhat nicely.

There's no way that I can say that I'm a great motion designer, hell - I haven't went to any school about the subject. I have no idea where to send a possible demo reel (don't have one) or a CV - therefore I'm WTS'ing myself here!

If you need a guild intro, animated logo for your website or something like that.. gimme a mail! (It does not even have to be anything WoW, machinima or gaming related.)

When I look at the commercials on the TV or game trailers on the net - I often find myself thinking "I could do that".

So one of my questions is, do all these big game companies make their game trailers themselves or do they do it externally?

Or how about smaller game companies, the independent teams - is there a market for trailers produced outside the team? Is there a secret meeting place on the interwebs where the gaming industry gathers to offer and look for services?

I know I can't (and possibly don't want to) make machinima for the rest of my life, that road will come to it's end some day. Trying out my creativity in the other fields of video editing is definitely something I'd love to do.

What I'd like to do is more of this motion graphic stuff, learn to be better by doing. My CV wants more epix inside itself!

For NST4 I made two different clips.

Also, I get to be in some clips made by the big O as well - I find myself in a gay bar and I become a victim of scientology.

While Olibith was still making NST4 he showed me some of the completed clips on the way. One of them inspired me to make a machinima called Warrior's Dance.

This was made very fast, about in one day - so do not expect any mega-scale editing!

It's description goes like this:

THE SHORTCHANGE is a new, gnome-only dance club which just opened in Stormwind city. It was opened to honor the liberation of the gnomish race from the enslavement from the traitorous Alliance (gnomes were used as vibrating sex toys, things to step on, cannonballs, garden decoration and many other things against their own will). So, I was asked by the German web-magazine Buffed.de to create a trailer for the upcoming WoW-expansion "World of Gnomecraft". This was a fun little project to make.

And it confirmed one thing.. it is now quite impossible for me to make movies without gnomes. I tried to resist, but no reason to fight it anymore!

The porno-gnome from outer space is very close in releasing Never Stay Tuned 4, so I'll release the last preview of my main section for it.

This was originally made for Olibith's Never Stay Tuned 3. The project files of MMFH have been sitting on my HD since spring 2008.

I lost the interest to finish this machinima - the main reason being that it's nowhere close of my standards of today (the Vegas editing is very obvious).

I may re-do the whole thing with a new song in the future. The only thing I'm keeping from this original video are the "gnome on a rocket"-renders by Pinkhair.

As for the possible future re-make.. well, the greatest German director ever - Uwe Boll - has not made a video for the greatest German band, Scooter. As I'm calling myself "The Uwe Boll of WoW machinima" I think I need to fix this horrible error, sort of.

The world needs more adventures of the extacy-addicted pinkhaired gnome and the crossdressing cow!

Raid Together, Die Alone 3 came out a bit sooner than I planned. But I got hit by inspiration so I did it now. I'm also going to need the HD space for The Palest Horse and work stuff.

RTDA3 features something new that I've not used before in a movie - adding in Photoshopped screenshots. You'll see actual screenshots from the game which are modified a bit with PS.

All the footage has been filmed or screencapped between 2005 and 2009.

I'm not sure if I'll make an RTDA4 during WOTLK, it all depends on the hard drive space left. My priorities for saving it are to work stuff and The Palest Horse.

With an experience bar and equipment like that, it blows my mind (in a positive way) to hear news like this:

Players will now be awarded experience for completing objectives and actions that yield honor in Battlegrounds (honorable kills not included).
Players who do not wish to gain experience through PvP can visit Behsten in Stormwind or Slahtz in Orgrimmar - both located near the Battlemasters in either city - and turn off all experience accumulation for the cost of 10 gold.
Disabling experience gains will prevent a player from gaining experience through any means available in the game.
Players with experience gains turned off who compete in Battlegrounds will face off only against other players with experience gains turned off.
Behsten and Slahtz can reinstate experience gains for players, for a 10 gold fee of course. Any experience that would've been accumulated if experience gains were not turned off cannot be recovered.

So, I was flying around in Elwynn and found this lonely little house in mountains.

It had no residents - that had to be changed!

This is my vision of a gnome-styled penthouse high above.

The area features a racing track, teleporters, chillout zone by a beach (the chill zone is equipped with drinkable, eatable and smokable products), swimming pool, three different bars, a garage and a personal warship for destroying things you do not like!

And if that ain't enough, there's also penguins, iceblocks, mechagnomes and a device which changes day to night (and vice versa) by a single button push!

I've never done any area creation before so this is my first time. Everything was created by spawning gameobjects (the easy newb mode).

The selectable mounts are between the blue orbs. When the racer stands at the purple spawnpoint thingie, he or she gets mounted - if this was real :)

The racing track! Should this really work, the thing in the middle would be a checkpoint.

The goal! If you managed to dodge the bombs, this would return you to the start at the spawnpoint.

My guild, The Beastro - a horde guild located on Twilight's Hammer (EU) is looking for more players to it's ranks. We are an old guild, been around since 2005.

We are currently raiding Ulduar on 10 man versions - because of the Summer Effect, the lack of 25 man raids is disturbing!

I'm quoting the recruitment post from our realm forums:

We are currently recruiting people to finally clear Ulduar 25m, and aim to eventually get all the hard-mode achievements done.

Our current progress status is 5 on 25m and 11 on 10m mode. The reason why we're still so far behind is because we usually lack just a couple of people to fill the raid.

Our 'Official' raid times are Tusday/Thursday/Sunday invites starting 19:30 or earlier if possible, ending at 23:00 but going on if replacements are available.
Would like to add that currently we also raid nearly every night (YOGI MUST DIE), an exception being Friday and Saturday, the days some of us feel an urge to leave our lairs to feast on booze/blood/boobs.

The Beastro is NOT a ''hardcore'' guld, but neither are we to be mistaken for a casual guild. We're in the Grey Area.

We do not recruit people younger than 18, and most of our members are aged between 20 and 40.

Raiders are expected to come to raids with consumables and knowledge of the enemy, as well as their class. You are expected to have a mic and headphones since we use Vent 2.3 for communication.

Soosisti is back!

The warlock, which was my main during vanilla times, got to 70 and retired. During TBC and early WOTLK he served as a AH bitch for my other alts.

The Destroyer of Murlocs was called to active duty because of this article in WoW.com (previously known as WoW Insider).

Soos has always sworn in the name of Affliction, but it was quite the boring spec nowadays. When I tried destro... ZOMG! Everything dies with four button presses.

Also, this has refreshed my interest in leveling. I've gotten to lv73 quite fast (I'm a quite slow leveler normally).

Blowing things up with fire and all that stuff is just so god damn fun :)

But hey! This does not relate to machinima at all!

Well, it might. My current main is a retritardin which makes PvE filming impossible so now's my chance. Old Soos will be my alt, maybe I'll get to film some OS25/Naxxramas footage with him.

And if that fails, there's the never ending fields of to-be-dead murlocs.

The crazy, raving, drug-using pinkhaired gnome and the crossdressing enormous cow are not going to make an appearance. This is something new - the most profane and perverse (lyric-wise) video I've done so far.

THE SHORTCHANGE is a new, gnome-only dance club which recently opened in Stormwind. It was opened just after the gnomish liberation - a group of gnomes took control and freed their entire race from Alliance slavery.

The opening night was a great success, the place was full of gnomes. Before the doors closed, a huge feast was served and everyone was happy.

This all translates to the fact that I've just completed a new machinima.

BUT YOU WON'T GET TO SEE IT.

This one was partially inspired by a scene seen in Olibith's upcoming Never Stay Tuned 4. Once you sell your soul to a gnome - you're bound to it's will: Warrior's Dance will be released sometime after NST4.

Do you know what time it is?

It's the time for me to start working on a bigger plotline machinima.

THE PALEST HORSE takes place around a town called Big Tomb (represented by Gadgetzan). One day, a shadowy figure - an undead blood elf called Ashen comes to town looking for revenge. Her target is the city's mayor who was responsible for the death of her entire family. The biggest obstacle in getting to the Mayor is the huge, impenetrable air fortress he lives in.

But there is a way for her to get to him.. by winning the annual dueling tournament.

TPH is written by a professional screenwriter who goes by the alias Von Klausur. We've been working on the script for quite a while and now it's polished and finalized - ready to be voiced. The script is 46 pages long which should result in about a 30 to 50 minute movie. There is no set length for it, the movie will be as long or short as it needs to be.

My goal is to bring you a kick-ass action filled machinima. The style will be a mix-up of a traditional western and a modern action movie with small touches of fantasy stuff.

TPH will be filmed using both in-game filming and compositing with After Effects.

I will not post the entire cast list here as it is quite big and the Blogger formatting will break it.

I've finally done it and moved on.

The time has come for me to start using After Effects for doing all the compositing work in my future movies.

I don't know why I did not use it before, but now the time felt correct. Maybe, because there is something big being on the horizon :)

AE is absolutely amazing compared to Vegas in terms of tools and all that jazz. AE loves to crash a lot, but it also just does some things so amazingly better than Vegas. No need to turn back at all!

I started to work on a music video. It's gonna be very surrealistic and all, so I can go crazy with all the effect hoodoo within AE.

The tutorials at Video Copilot are very useful, but I really do not want to copy the things shown on the tutorials 1:1. In my case that might not be entirely possible as there is a LOT to learn.

This current work-in-progress movie is good "target practice" for Unpuntable 2 and something still unannounced.

I've completed the first minute of this video and it is nothing but composited scenes of WoW / Unreal Tournament 2004 + 3 footage. It has taken long :)

Today, an idea was given birth. Something almost random, simple and retarded. A script written by me in an alarmingly low time.

This right here is going to be a silly pewpew-movie, a true B-class machinima. It will feature famous characters from the Warcraft universe, and most of all - a female gnome kicking ass.

I intend to edit it over one weekend after I've gotten all the voicese. Though all my 'real' projects will surpass this one in priority :)

Unpuntable 2 is a sequel. A sequel to a movie which has not been and possibly will not be ever made.

I am looking for skilled and experienced voice actors with good recording equipment and great english skills. Having an accent is not a problem.

The script will be provided in CeltX format.

Apothecary Lydon
Sex: Male

Race: Undead

A gloomy, undead apothecary. He's an ingame NPC at Tarren Mill. He has only a few lines, one quoted directly from a quest he gives. He wishes to create the perfect plague to get rid of humanity for once and all.

Voice type: undead-ish. A dark, gloomy character who is really pissed off about the sunshine and fresh air outside his hut.

Sample line: "The flowers are blooming in Hillsbrad and the air is so fresh and brisk. I can't help but to wallow in my misery of it all."

King Varian Wrynn
Sex: Male
Age: 30 - 40
Race: Human

This time, Wrynn is going to be a spoilt brat, like a five-year old kid giving tantrums. He almost gets to be a bad ass. Think of UncleTom's Kael'Thas but not that stupid. This version of Wrynn does not want to go to the church but aunty Prestor / Onyxia is gonna make him go anyways.

Sample lines:
"BUT I DON'T WANNAAAA! I wanna stay home and watch ninja turtles." *spoilt brat mode*

"And I let those little bastards walk freely in my city! Step aside, I'll handle this!" *angered bad ass mode*

Stormwind Guard

An extra character, no special personality.

"Sir! Sir! We are under attack!" *scared, he has just run for his life*
"No it isn't sir - the gnome is really killing everyone!"

Lady Prestor / Onyxia

As this movie happens in an alternate universe, good ol' lady Prestor is the 'mommy' of King Wrynn. A very precise voice description for her would be Cartmans mother from south park. Only a couple of lines.

Sample line: "Wrynn-honey.. if you show up in the cathedral, these silly people continue to believe that the 'holy light' is actually real and continue to pay us taxes. Now, we need money to--" (her line gets interrupted by a Stormwind guard)

Thrall
Age: 35-40
Sex: Male
Race: Orc

The warchief of the Horde. A charismatic leader who actually is not so charismatic. Actually he's a chicken, but a convincing chicken. See his ingame (WoW) voice for example. This Thrall is definitely not a "silly" character, everything that comes out of his mouth is presented in a serious tone.

Sample lines:

"We shall leave the city at once to Northrend. This scout shall take care of our duties till the city is safe."

"Oh no.. I left Fluffy and Dolly behind. We need to go back! WE NEED TO GO BACK, KATE! *cough* I meant Saurfang." (Lost reference, lolol)

Overlord Saurfang
Age: 40+
Sex: Male
Race: Orc

Overlord Saurfang is Thrall's second in command. His job is to /facepalm at the situations Thrall has lead him to.

Sample lines:
"Fine. Scout! Me and the warchief shall cowardishly flee the city to Borean Tundra. You are in charge of the city! Report to Grommash Hold tomorrow if Orgrimmar still stands."

"But warchief.. shouldn't we stay here and fight gloriously till the end?"

In the end of the movie, there's a small flashback which tells why things are happening. This orc is a part of it. He's your typical war-mongering, axe-in-your-face kind of guy.

A human fighting the orc above. Just for the reason that he does not liek orcs.

In addition to this I'm going to be making something a lot more serious, written by someone with skill. That project will require voice actor recruitment but for now it's a bit too early for that.

Gnomes, dead murlocs, horde! That's the content in a very narrowed down version.

Once upon a time in the magical kingdom of YouTube, a mail entered my box. It had a link to a mp3 file and a request which went like: "please consider machinimaking this song!"

I listened to it, and my instant reply was "HELL YES I'LL MACHINIMATE THIS!"

Well.. actually not all of them were gnomes originally, a couple of hordies from my guild went through a conversion (gnomversion?). One of mine (Astley) was killed as well.

As you can see, only a fraction of the 80+ gnomes were used. That means that I gotta make a video which is only about gnomes. I got a couple of ideas, but nothing solid yet.

This video is very ready, expect a release soon.

Making of "No Point: Stretching Time"
The idea for this movie came to me late 2007 or early 2008. I went to the WoW.dev forums and asked people to send me their model changes. I wanted to create a movie which would feature new worlds from many directors. The other criterias for the movie weret that a) it should have gnomes as main characters and b) it should have a meaning or a plot.

Originally the movie was supposed to be created around one song, the DJ Orkidea remix of the Nightwish song "Bye Bye Beautiful". In the end, a good idea was replaced with an excellent one and that song is not in this movie at all.

The exact day when first recordings were made is 26th of february 2008. I finished editing the movie on 11th of December 2008. Between this time there was like a 5 month break when I did not do anything to the movie, it just was lying around in my HD.

That was definitely a good thing - now No Point: Stretching Time is almost exactly what I want it to be. I would have re-filmed a couple of really small scenes, but my laptop decided to blow up so that's a no go. I can honestly say that this is the machinima I'm most satisfied of.

Having no other games featured than WoW was part of the first plans, but later on I added multi-game scenes when the movie and story grew. It was no longer a "yet another Unlimited Escapism" but something more.

The plot - which can be interpreted in any way you want - was done the absolutely wrong way. On the beginnning I did have some ideas written on the paper, but at the final stages I just went with the philosophy "sync cool things to the music".

The name of the movie has nothing, 0% to do with the content. "No Point" comes from the lovely comments at WCM (which the UE series mostly got), "WTF?! THERE'S NO POINT!!11". Also, the phrase "No Point" will market the movie automatically - people use it in sentences. For example, "There's no point giving the Thunderfury to a warrior, since a warlock can also wield it nowadays." Hopefully this evil plan is successful!

"Stretching Time" is just an enormous salute to the song of same name in the movie (by Dj Orkidea).

Yes, I am a huuuuuge DJ Orkidea fanboi.

That's all folks! I hope you enjoy the movie and download it instead of streaming. Watch this machinima from the biggest video and audio system possible. The sound design by Caruu (also known as the prime messenger of Xenu) should make some sweet love to your stereo system.

A sequel? Not necessary, but not an impossible thought. I've told everything there is to this story. To get inspired to make a No Point 2, I need a bunch of new skillz an model changes.

My next machinima (the music video where I asked for people to send in their gnomes) is 99% ready. It will be delayed till I get my laptop back or come up with an alternative idea how to finish it.

This is not a machinima related post. Well, not for the most part!

Meet my lv60 oldskool vanity alt paladin, Metaverse.

I've managed to get him quite pimped out by hanging around with various PuGs to the oldschool instances. Being prot is hot, and throwing all the hammers has never been this fun.

My current main, Whitelabel is a paladin as well.

It is quite nice when the epics just fall from the sky to your hands while being carried by a raid of 80's.

I'd like to experience the old raids they were, this time as a horde paladin (I was a warlock in the previous life). For that, the world (of Warcraft) needs people at level 60.

So.. dear Blizzard, if anyone from your side is reading this, please consider this suggestion of mine.

There is quite a multitude of threads (on EU forums at least) asking for oldschool servers. That is something what I am not asking for.

Whilst vanilla WoW had it's pros, it sure had some really annoying cons.

Biggest of being them forcing class X into one role - healer, dps or tank. There were no real hybrids. With WotLK, the different talent trees of each (hybrid) class are more useful to it's purpose.

For example, the thought of bringing a shadow priest to dps in vanilla was a really, really crazy thought. It was either heal or gtfo.

I've always been horde so I can't say anything about the state of vanilla paladins, but the roots of "LOLRET" go long. As far as I know, prot paladins were not much of use in the days of vanilla. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)

This picture has absolutely nothing to do with the subject of the post. However, those who understand what is going on.. are truly enlightened.

One of the most used counter-attack opinions against the oldschool servers is the "feeling of nostalgia", remembering only the good things from the past.

Completely true!

I did not even remember that when WoW started, there were no connected flight paths or linked Auction Houses.

The good old Southshore vs Tarren Mill battle was fun, as long as you were the high level character fighting the battle. But as a lowbie alt... ouch.

I'm raiding the new content and all, which I personally like a lot more than the raids introduced at the start of TBC. Our guild is a casual raiding guild, nothing too hardcore. We've been around since the vanilla times.

But I still like to experience the old world content. Call me a masochist, but I wanna take my protadin out there to Silithus and pewpew all those Twilight's Hammer cultists down just to get their encrypted texts for reputaiton.

Finally to the main point of this post: the thing I wish to suggest is simply the ability to lock your character to level 60.

Someone in the back row might yell "THEN GET A VANILLA ACCOUNT FFS!".

That is one alternative, but it removes the option for Horde paladins and Alliance shamans.

Back then those two classes were faction restricted.

Now, I would like to see how the oldskool content works with all possible classes. With a raid full of 60's the encounters still require effort and coordination. And more importantly, people enjoy playing shamans and paladins.

Why restrict them with classic accounts?

In my opinion, the "new" classes (Death Knights included) would bring a nice extra touch to the old world raiding experience, making things go smoother. Joining a new guild on the other faction to play shaman or paladin is not a thing that everyone is willing to do.

Instead of wasting money and time on getting an "oldschool server" running, implementing the option to lock a character down to 60, would be a lot easier - and probably cheaper - in terms of technical things (compared to setting up X amount of server machines).

Hell, I would be willing to pay a reasonable amount to lock the level of my character.

Both the playerbase (oldskool enthusiasts, I am sure that there are lot of us AND those who did not experience vanilla WoW) and Blizzard would benefit from this: I am quite sure that people who have their accounts cancelled would come out and try this option.

Do I need to dig deep into the ground to stay at 60?

And yes, there is a personal agenda in asking the lv60 lockdown: poor Metaverse is about 1.5 bars away from dinging 61. Getting Quel'Serrar, returning Onyxia's + Ossirian's heads etc have given quite a lot of XP.

And I really, o'rly-rly really want him to stay at 60.

Even with the option, I'd still like to see all the new content and instances.

The best part in my WoW experience has been the leveling: seeing the new quests, areas and instances for the first time. Learning new encounters and bosses, having them go down after all the frustrating wiping is a feeling made of win.

"A gnomeburger for Tyrael, some murloc eye soup for me please."

TLDR Version: Please Blizzard, give us an option to lock our characters to level 60. Thanks.

So, my laptop died, just like that.

It translates to machinimaking in a way that starting new videos will have a little delay (which sucks when I have a huge amount of inspiration and ideas!).

Especially ones which need more than one character on screen (no way I'll modelviewer those scenes which can be done faster and stuff :P)

Gladly, both No Point and are both completed in such way that there is no need for shots with multiple characters on them.

My inner sherlock tells me that the reasons for the sudden death of that poor laptop are either one or all of the following:

- I have not killed enough murlocs
- I have not rickrolled enough people
- I have not bashed enough emos and their shitty poemwriting
- I still don't have the Thunderfury bindings on Metaverse
- You know the rules and so do I
- Making lists like this is kinda stupid, don't you think?
- I'm on a boat, bitch!
- XENU!

A big plus is that the Fujitsu-Siemens customer service was nice and agreed to extend my warranty (it had ended like one month ago). Respect!

Here's a screenshot of the project where lots of gnomes are supposed to be eliminated..

..I couldn't resist starting editing. I'm about halfway of the song and only two gnomes have been killed (Olibith and El). So I got about 80-ish left :D

This translates to it, that if the gnomes do not meet their doom on this video - another machinima must be made.

I'm very grateful for all the gnomes I've gotten and I can guarantee that there is an use for them - I got quite many ideas and concepts in mind involving the G-race.

This video is made in the terms of the story, if the gnome killing has got to go, then it goes. But as they say, "what g(n)o(m)es around, comes around".

Surrender your gnomes to me.. NOW!

Update: My gnome hunting is going great, currently the (body)count is 43 gnomes from both EU and US!

Also, the gnome hunting got mentioned in WoW Insider.

Almost right after No Point is completed and released, I will start to work on a music video. It will be something that I've never done before.

And therefore, I need your gnomes!

I'm gonna be honest:
that poor gnome of yours is going to get killed on the video.. with style :)

Olibith righ there is an excellent example for everyone!

In order to get your gnome to me, do the following:

Get yourself a copy of WoW model viewer
Create your gnome in it, make sure that he or she wears the correct clothing on your realm (no custom mixed up sets or classes please) and has the correct face
If your gnome is wearing a headpiece which covers the entire face (for example the warrior t6 helm) consider leaving it off
To get your gnome to me, save your character in model viewer and send that file to me (using rapidshare, megaupload, filebeam etc), put the link to the comments of this post or send it as a private mail via YouTube, WCM or IRC
No level restriction on the gnome, lowlevel alts are fine
This is important - name the file like this: Nameofgnome_Server_location (for example: Fluffypuff_EU-Gnomeregan, Legolashunter_US-Magtheridon etc) - this is for crediting purposes. Yes, you will get your name on the credits.
I can't guarantee that every gnome will get to die in the video, but I'll do my best. The biggest issue is be that the new model viewer shows some of the glows & particles wrong which leads to mmmrggllgglgl with chromakeying.

I won't reveal the song or anything till the music video is released. The dying gnome thing is just a small (pun intended) part of the video :)

Cartoonr + WoW testing

Warning! A very image-heavy post ahead!

So I did some more testing with Cartoonr. As it is free, it is a damn nice little plugin - but not perfect in all cases concerning WoW machinima.

Best results are achieved on still shots, without any faster or notable camera movement (though this can be fixed by tweaking the plugin's settings).

On the moving shots, some "liveliness" (in lack of a better word) can be seen on the backgrounds. I've still to try using both Cartoonr and Magic Bullet together. It makes the rendering slow, but the results may be pretty.

Cartoonr will not create cartoons nor anime for you, but it can give a nice graphical style to your video - when used with taste.

One of the things I found using Cartoonr that it's not recommended to use the same preset throughout the movie. This said, I am definitely not going to use it on No Point. But I will definitely use it on some future machinima.

Speaking of which.. if YOU have a plot idea for a machinima (short one, music video length - max. 4 min) taking place in Grizzly Hills - lemme know. I like that area a lot and it seemed to work pretty OK with Cartoonr.

Thanks to Moomoney, I got my hand on this really interesting, FREE (yes, legally free) plugin for Vegas (it works with other video editing programs as well).

The plugin is called Cartoonr and you can get it here (registration is required). And here's a video of Cartoonr in action.

What Cartoonr does that it cartoonizes your footage. Quite the same trick which is easily doable on Photoshop.

I just installed it, played with it and here is one test - the first picture is before the filter and the second one after.

I'll test it more with No Point: Stretching Time and maybe consider giving the movie a very interesting look.. we shall see :)

My machinimaking PC has been invaded by spawns of Xenu! It started with a mysterious WoW crash, then came the blue space waves and now this..

Everything got deleted. All machinima projects and mp3s.
Even the murloc pornog-- oh, nevermind, I did not say anything.

I lied about the files. They are safe!

Oh well, I guess it's time to buy a new gfx card - if that is the problem. Testing and making sure tomorrow.

If it is not, then I foresee a huge delay with all machinima releases. This is the first omen of the apocalypse - next step is being forced into an airplane which is gonna be stuffed into a volcano.

I'm very satisfied with the result in the contest. THFC was the machinima that I spent the most least time making on - I completed it even faster than The Device Has Been Modified.

First place went very deservingly to Firebolt Productions' Northrend Wonderland which is made of pure, unaltered win.

First Photoshopping of 2009

Let's start the new year with some photoshopping!

I got the idea for this poster when I realized that I do not have a copy of "The Shining" in my DVD collection. Some oldskool DnB was playing on the background and it was -10c outside.

LE2 is currently a not-too-finished idea in my head. I do hope to get it filmed and done this year.

But in a nutshell, these are some things to be expected from it:

a gorloc sidekick
rickrolls to end all rickrolling
Pulp Fiction parodying (with gnomes)
stolen weed
introduction of AAEPD (Azerothian Anti-emo Police Department)
a great deal of information about Space Oniontology and things being stuffed into volcanoes
possibly a black yellow-outlined horseman
the gnovibrator kicked down to water

Releasing LE2 is not a new years promise, but my new year's decision is to greatly reduce randomity in my machinimas (which does not apply to LE2 as it's randomity level will be over 8999) and make them more solid.

2009 will be the year of trying out new things.

That said, the numbering of posts will end starting now.
