R.I.P. Filefront

As some of you may have heard, Filefront is closing it's doors.

If you wish to download any of my movies, now is a really good time to do that.

See my filefront profile here and download everything you need :)

Most of the movies are still hosted at WCM mirrors (though downloading from those mirrors requires a premium membership), some of them are in sites like MegaUpload, so all is not lost.

You're my favourite machinima author.
I hope we ( I mean your audience) won't loose you cuz of hostings shut down.
Maybe you try using torrents for publishing? Or make a EULA letting ppl repost your movies on torrent trackers with some restrictions.
P.S.: I hated you killing that many gnomes.
P.P.S.: don't mess up with gnomes or you'll have the cutest ever death from gnomish engineering gadgets which names I can't even spell properly.

I just don't think that this is an april fools, why post it so early then?

Or maybe it is a trick - the old filefront dies and we get something new on april 1st :)

I've been trying to download No Point from Filefront but when I go back to play the download there is no audio. =(

Michelle: which version are you downloading?

If it's the .mp4/x264 version, it should play OK with VLC or Media Player Classic without any codec installations.

If it's the other one, then just make sure that either the XviD codec or the all-in-one version FFDshow is installed.

Indeed, but UNLIKE as you predicted, it wasn't an april fool, they were really going to close but apparently the original founders brought it back to the company that owned it since 2005, they just had terrible timing...
